Every time that I think about the fact the Weird Al’s new record went to number 1 on the Billboard 200, I am instantly overjoyed. There is something so incredibly hopeful about where we are at in society. The fact that something as intelligent, pure, and just plain fun can climb to the top of the charts in the present climate of unintelligent pop culture. Which is not to say that I don’t discredit current pop culture, on the contrary, I enjoy and participate in some of it.
All that I am saying is that I love Weird Al. I think he’s an incredibly intelligent, musically talented, and just downright fun. I grew up with Weird Al records, I will carry Weird Al records for the rest of my life, and nothing will take that away from me.

Hey, Final Draft what the hell just happened?
I’d greatly appreciate it if you stopped doing whatever it is you’re doing. It’s making me uncomfortable.
And messing with my flow.
One of my favorite comics @kurtbraunohler’s @comedycentral #thehalfhour is on tonight!
"Stop saying it’s okay when your soul’s bleeding. Stop trying to dodge knives that always end up in the depths of your heart. Stop looking to the ceiling hoping that tears won’t overflow. Stop taking people’s shit. Walk away. Fuck them all."
